Turn off Other Email Tab in Outlook

Microsoft is once again using their wisdom against its clients by enabling, by default, a ‘focused‘ inbox experience within Outlook.

In short, Microsoft Outlook attempts to determine what email messages are important, to help keep you ‘Focused‘ and what belongs in the ‘Other‘ email category.

For most of my clients, this results in ‘missing‘ emails or overlooking potentially important emails such as time sensitive ones.

To flush your DNS cache on a Mac we simply need to use the following command within a Terminal window. The command may very but the one below should handle Macs running macOS Big Sur and later operating system.

As stated, open Terminal and enter the following command: sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

You’ll need to enter your password and press Return to complete the process. It may even be advisable to restart / power cycle your Mac after this.
