Disable Drag to Top Snap Layouts on Windows 11
To disable the Snap layouts menu from the top of the screen on Windows 11, use these steps:
- Open Settings > System > Multitasking settings.
- Expand the “Snap windows” setting.
- Uncheck the “Show snap layouts when I drag a window to the top of my screen” option which disables the visibility of the Snap layout menu at the top of the screen.
- Optional: Clear the “Show snap layouts when I hover over a window’s maximize button” option to disable Snap layouts completely.
Once you complete the steps, dragging a window to the top of the screen will no longer show the Snap layouts drop-down interface. However, you will continue to be able to use Snap assist with the keyboard shortcuts as before.
Enable Drag to Top Snap Layouts on Windows 11
