Disable Gravity Forms Autofill link, Save with link
Recently my Stripe Pricing Fields within Gravity Forms obtained new features.
Namely an Autofill link and a Save with link option, each of which I did not want and has caused confusion and even raised alarm bells among my clients.
Rather than ask for permission Stripe opted to ask for forgiveness by enabling their new Link payments feature automagically.
This article will take you through the steps to disable this new Autofill link and Save with link options from any forms created within Gravity Forms.
Disable Link within Stripe to Remove Autofill link
Follow the steps outlined below to completely remove the Link feature within your Gravity Forms.
- Sign into your Stripe payment gateway portal and click on the gear icon at the top right of the screen next to the notifications bell icon.
- From the drop down click on: Settings > Payments > click on the “Link” tab. From there toggle off all Link related features.
- Once again using the tabs at the top select “Payment methods” and (if needed) run through each method to locate Link.
- Once located, simply click on Link and select the “Turn off” button (see image below).
- Note, once Link has been disabled, it will take several minutes to an hour for the changes to take effect on your website. Be sure to clear your servers’ cache as well.
